What: The RSL Virtual War Memorial Ltd in association with Battlefield History Tours Pty Ltd, is offering an escorted comprehensive Battlefield Tour in France and Belgium, guided by experienced Battlefield guide and VWM founder, (Colonel) Steve Larkins.

When: 19-29 September 2017 - 11 days / 11 nights - Paris to Paris

Inclusions: Accommodation (INCLUDING evening of the 18th September), battlefield tours with historian, air conditioned coach, site / museum entries and most meals and several ‘Special events’.

Exclusions: Air travel to/from Australia, transfers to and from airports, travel insurance, laundry and alcohol.

How: Join and leave the Tour in Paris. Accommodation in the beautiful towns of Peronne (on the River Somme) Ieper aka Ypres (Belgium) and Bayeaux (Normandy).

Steve Larkins has been travelling to the Western Front since he was posted to the UK in 1987. He commanded an Australian Army Guard of Honour to France in 1998 and has subsequently guided tours to the Western Front and Gallipoli since 2008, working with Battlefield History Tours and associates, and the SA State Government.

This compares very favourably with similar tours conducted by Boronia Travel ($5,125 11 days), Mat McLachlan Battlefield Tours ($4,497 11 days) and Military History Tours ($4,995 15 days) which has a relationship with BHT Pty Ltd. None of these include Normandy.
